Recommendation

Local Studies: I think my local library, Lane Cove has reasonably good 2.0 technologies in place for the community. Lots of pictures available of the local area but if i had to offer any improvements I would recommend the sort of genealogy links at this library in Northern Ireland which allows people to navigate old records to find family members or other information or the availability of newspaper back issues would be excellent. In the case of Children’s 2.0 I think there are lots of ways in which Lane Cove library could be improved with the availability of online interactive children's books or online encyclopedias for children. Especially when you bear in mind how much more we rely on technology in the past twenty years even. The toddlers of today will be required to understand some technological stuff. And as with everything, if you are exposed to it from a young age it comes so much more naturally(follow the link for an example of this!)
Finally the Teenage/Youth 2.0. This is quite good but it is very focused on their studies and less so on reading for pleasure, which is to my mind as important. So possibly online comics or graphic novels.  Like with the children, a lot of teenagers are very computer savvy so possibly social media would be the way to go here.
